The Quartz Hillside Institute of Technology & Humanities (QH) was founded in 2019 with a vision to transform education in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia through innovative approaches to technology and humanities education.
Established through a collaborative initiative between the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, international development organizations, and private sector partners, QH represents a commitment to developing the next generation of leaders who can drive meaningful change in the region.
Since our founding, we have grown from a small institution offering a single graduate program to a comprehensive institute with undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, serving over 800 students from across Central Asia and beyond.

Dr. Mukambetova brings over 20 years of experience in educational leadership, having previously served as Deputy Minister of Education and as a consultant for UNESCO. She holds a PhD in Educational Leadership from the University of Cambridge.

Prof. Kasenov is an expert in educational innovation and policy. With a PhD from Stanford University, he has led major educational reform initiatives throughout Central Asia and has published extensively on educational leadership.
